Registration for an online series of WEA certification trainings for teachers, Career & Technical Education (CTE) teachers and Educational Staff Associates (ESAs).

  -- The WEA ESA and Teacher Certification Trainings will help participants understand the latest state certification policy
      changes, examine certificate renewal options and explore the OSPI eCert platform. Both trainings also address the latest
      COVID-19 certification updates.

  -- WEA’s Professional Growth Plan (PGP) Part 1 Class is for all certificated educators considering using PGPs for
      certificate renewal, meeting the STEM certificate renewal requirement, and for salary advancement purposes.

Teacher Certification 101 (3 Clock Hours). Focuses on latest teacher certificate renewal requirements, policy changes, STEM renewal requirement, PGP basics, National Board basics, OSPI eCert platform. Audience: Teachers and CTE Teachers

Educational Staff Associates (ESA) Certification 101 (3 Clock Hours) Focuses on latest ESA certificate renewal requirements, policy changes, OSPI eCert platform, PGP basics and ESA professional growth needs. Audience: Educational Staff Associates (Counselors, psychologists, social workers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, nurses, behavior analysts)

Professional Growth Plan (3 Clock Hours) Certificated educators can complete 1 PGP per year for 25 clock hours for certificate renewal and salary movement.  Session covers PGP basics, alignment with TPEP, meeting STEM requirement using PGPs and time to draft your PGP.  Audience: All certificated educators
