Register Now for the WEA ESP Conference!

Registration is now open for the WEA ESP Conference being held October 27 & 28 at Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines, Washington. This 2-day conference is open to WEA Education Support Professionals and offers a variety of professional development courses aimed at elevating proficiency around special ed, cultural competency, bargaining, technology, and many more classroom challenges facing our ESP members. Saul Ramos, the NEA ESP of the Year, will be the keynote speaker.

Registration closes October 15, 2017. Classes fill quickly and are subject to space availability, so please register early. Steps will be taken to make sure all participants attend requested classes, but once a class is full you may be assigned to another class.

Registration is only $20 for WEA members and $150 for non-WEA members. Any questions members of NEOPA, NSEA ESP, SESPA, and SCCA may have should be directed to our Council WEA ACT Representative, Pat Waldrop, or Jill Dahlen at WEA Headquarters. Some travel expenses for this conference may be reimbursed. See the flyer for more information.

Some classes qualify for 3 or 6 clock hours at no additional cost to WEA members. All classes qualify for a certificate of completion. Your $20 registration fee covers:

  • Friday Evening Speakers
  • Friday Dinner
  • Saturday Breakfast and Lunch
  • Saturday Training and Materials
